The Info Bank serves the patients as well as the rest of the population

The Info Bank contains information produced at the hospitals of the Hospital District of Southwest Finland. The intention of this Info Bank is to support treatment and to give information about health and diseases. The information in the Info Bank does not replace the personal treatment in health care or the instructions the patient gets there. The Hospital District of Southwest Finland does not assume responsibility for any possible consequences caused when a person by himself follows the information in the Info Bank.

The information in English at the Info Bank is at present only published on the extranet, which can be read at the hospitals of The Hospital District of Southwest Finland and at some of the health centres. Elsewhere the health care staff can ask the ohjekoordinaattori for a password so that they can read the instructions on the extranet.
